Well, my KC friend just blogged about the lack of South Dakotan blood in Kansanians. Imagine their reaction to this weather in the morning:

It was -15 when I finally got into Rapid City last Monday.
The coldest it's been in Kansas City in the 3 years I've been here? -1. Yes, it did dip below zero once.
