- The French National Assembly has passed a bill to out law closed DRMs.
- A London based firm, TidalStream, has developed a semi submersible turbine system to harvest energy of deep tidal currents. The company hopes to begin constructing such systems in the Pentland Firth (Northern Scotland) in five years.

Ah, I see that our world continues its march toward that of "Total Annihilation" with the development of tidal generators. The only question now is will the U.S. be the basis for the Arm or the Core?
