NAcho CHEeSe River
Anyone who has frequented my blog knows that I like to call the Naches River, the Nachos River. This is not entirely accurate. The river's true name is the Nacho Cheese River, but the locals use the slang Naches (NAcho CHEeSe). Kindof catchy huh? Well, this river flows along US highway 12 here in Yakima. The river has been eroding away at the roadway and to combat this the WSDOT has been armoring the banks.
